The Toronto Worldwide Movie Pageant introduced Thursday it’s cancelling all screenings of the documentary Russians at Struggle as a consequence of “important threats” to public security. Organizers cited reviews of potential dangers to pageant operations. Directed by Anastasia Trofimova, the movie follows a Russian battalion in the course of the 2022 invasion of Ukraine. TIFF described the choice as unprecedented.
