Senegal’s President Bassirou Diomaye Faye dissolved parliament Thursday, simply six months after he was elected president, paving the way in which for snap legislative elections. The elections need to happen inside the subsequent 90 days, in line with Senegal’s structure, and analysts say that Faye’s recognition, particularly amongst younger voters, ought to enable his political get together to safe a parliamentary majority.
