A person has been arrested after he “incorrectly” boarded an easyJet flight with out the right paperwork.
Police responded to reviews {that a} man was on the plane – which was as a result of fly from Manchester Airport to Milan – round 7pm on Friday.
The person, a person in his 20s, was arrested by Higher Manchester Police (GMP) officers on suspicion of hiding for the aim of being carried in an plane with out consent and deliberately or recklessly inflicting public nuisance.
All passengers and their baggage needed to be faraway from the flight – as is normal apply in such an incident.
Nothing suspicious was discovered aboard the plane and there’s no suggestion the incident was terror-related.
The person stays in police custody for questioning as inquiries proceed.
In a press release, easyJet stated its EZY2127 flight was topic to “further safety checks… as a result of a passenger incorrectly boarding the flight”.
The airline added: “Security and safety is our highest precedence, and so we’ll now work with our floor accomplice at Manchester Airport to know how he was capable of board the flight.”

Manchester Airport stated the passenger was “correctly screened” by its safety “so passenger security was by no means a difficulty”, and that it was working with the police and the airline to look into what occurred.
