NEW DELHI: The Border Safety Power (BSF) on Tuesday lodged a robust protest with Bangladesh’s border drive, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), over the “abduction” of one in all its soldier, who was later returned following a flag assembly, in accordance with the information company PTI.
Earlier within the day, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) despatched a message stating {that a} BSF soldier had been detained for illegally crossing into Bangladesh on the Biral border in Dinajpur, the Each day Bangladesh reported.
The BSF member was taken into custody round 11.30 am.
The Dinajpur BGB sector commander, Colonel Md Ariful Islam, had informed Each day Bangladesh that the BSF member had unintentionally crossed the zero line into Bangladesh whereas trying to push back cows and goats. He was detained, and the BSF officers have been notified.
The soldier was handed again after discussions between BGB and BSF officers.
