A 21-year-old girl died throughout remedy after allegedly consuming poison at her boyfriend’s home in Uttar Pradesh’s Mahoba district. Her companion reportedly turned down her marriage proposal, police stated on Tuesday.
Srinagar station home officer (SHO) Shivpal Singh informed PTI that the lady, Mamta Vishwakarma (21) from Nanuara village, went to 25-year-old Golu Tamrakar’s home within the Manoharganj space.

On Monday night (November 4), Mamta went to Golu’s home and requested him to marry her. When Golu refused, an argument ensued throughout which Mamta consumed poison, he stated.
Singh stated following an argument between the 2, Mamta consumed a toxic substance. Seeing her situation deteriorate, Golu’s relations took her to the district hospital from the place she was referred to the Jhansi Medical School, he stated.
“Sadly, she died en route the hospital,” he added.
