CM Siddaramaiah calls veteran author Dr. Hampana to stage and invitations him to inaugurate Dasara-2024
Mysuru: ‘Karnataka Samskrutika Munnota: Chintana Samavesha,’ a two-day conference on Karnataka’s Cultural Imaginative and prescient, started at Cauvery auditorium in KSOU’s Muktagangothri campus alongside Hunsur Street right here this midday.
The occasion is organised by Kannada and Tradition Division in affiliation with Nationwide Saint Poet Kanakadasa Examine and Analysis Centre, Bengaluru, as a part of Suvarna Karnataka Sambhrama-50.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated the occasion by lighting the lamp within the presence of Kannada and Tradition Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi, Mysuru District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah, Assure Schemes Implementation Monitoring Authority Vice-Chairperson Dr. Pushpa Amarnath, Kannada and Tradition Director Dr. Dharanidevi Malagatti, Joint Director V.N. Mallikarjuna Swamy, Nationwide Saint Poet Kanakadasa Examine and Analysis Centre Head Ok.T. Chikkanna (Ka.Tha.Chikkanna), Member- Secretary Banashankari V. Angadi and others.
CM extends official invitation
When District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa throughout his speech on the occasion made a reference to Hampana, who was among the many members sitting within the first row, Siddaramaiah known as veteran author Hampana to the stage and prolonged the official invitation to inaugurate Dasara-2024 at Mysuru atop Chamundi Hill on Oct. 3.
Earlier within the day, Siddaramaiah, whereas chatting with presspersons upon his arrival from Bengaluru, had introduced that Hampana would inaugurate this 12 months’s 10-day Dasara Pageant.
