After markets regulator SEBI’s directive to restrict weekly expiries to 1 per trade, the Nationwide Inventory Change on Thursday introduced that it’ll discontinue the weekly contracts on Financial institution Nifty, Nifty Midcap Choose and Nifty Monetary Providers.
The Financial institution Nifty might be discontinued from November 14, Nifty Midcap Choose from November 19 and Nifty Monetary Providers from November 19, the trade stated in a round.
Nonetheless, the NSE will proceed providing weekly by-product contracts for Nifty.
Final week, the, BSE introduced the discontinuation of its weekly contracts on Sensex 50 (November 14) and Bankex (November 18). It would proceed to supply weekly by-product contracts on Sensex.
