The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had obtained a criticism from Rocky Yadav, the proprietor of the Ramaiya Development, that Deputy SP Ajay Pratap Singh had been extorting cash from him by threatening to falsely implicate his household in a case of illegally stocking unlicensed assault weapons.
The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) carried out searches at Yadav’s premises on September 19 and requested him to look for questioning on September 26 earlier than Singh who was the investigation officer of the case, officers stated.
