Mysuru: As a part of the 10-day Nada Habba Dasara celebrations or Navarathri from Oct. 3 to 12, the Personal Durbar (Khas Durbar) will start on the Mysore Palace Durbar Corridor tomorrow.
Titular head of the erstwhile Mysuru Royal Household, Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, who can be the Mysuru-Kodagu MP will maintain the Durbar and it is going to be the primary Durbar after he grew to become the MP. Preparations for the Khas Durbar are in full swing on the Palace.
Forward of the Khas Durbar, the Golden Throne was assembled within the Durbar Corridor and the Silver Bhadrasana was arrange on the Kannadi Thotti throughout the Palace premises on Sept. 27.
The Khas Durbar will formally start with the ‘Enne Shastra’ (oil bathtub) ceremony for Yaduveer at 4.30 am tomorrow, adopted by the attachment of the Lion Head (Simhada Story) to the Golden Throne between 5.45 am and 6.10 am.
Subsequently, the ‘Kankana Dharane’ can be held the place Kankana can be tied on Yaduveer between 7.45 and eight.45 am at Chamundi Thotti within the Palace. The idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari will then be dropped at the Kodi Someshwara Temple within the Palace, accompanied by the Pattada Elephant, Horse and Cow.
The Khas Durbar will start with Kalasa Puja and Simhasana Puja at 11 am, after which Yaduveer will ascend the throne throughout an auspicious time between 11.35 am and 12.05 pm to carry the Khas Durbar.
Following this, the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari can be transported from Chamundi Thotti to Kannadi Thotti between 1.5 pm and 1.35 pm, after which a number of rituals can be carried out, marking the conclusion of the primary day of the Khas Durbar.
On Oct. 9, Saraswathi Puja can be carried out within the Palace from 10.05 am to 10.35 am, throughout which musical devices, uncommon and useful books and different articles within the Palace will be worshipped.
On Oct. 10, following the Khas Durbar, the Kaalaratri Utsava will happen at Kannadi Thotti within the night.
On Oct. 11, Durgashtami Puja rituals can be held, together with the Chandi Homa at Chamundi Thotti at 6 am, adopted by different customary rituals.
On Oct. 12, the ultimate day of the Dasara festivities, the idol of the deity can be paraded together with the Pattada Aaane (elephant), horse and cow at 9.45 am. Subsequently, Uttara Puja can be carried out at 10.15 am, together with Vijayayatre, Shamipuja, and different rituals, bringing the 10-day Dasara Khas Durbar on the Palace to a detailed.
