Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards stated on Tuesday they launched tens of missiles towards Israel and warned that if Israel retaliated Tehran’s response can be “extra crushing and harmful”, Iranian state TV reported.
“After a interval of restraint, Iran has focused the center of the occupied territories with tens of missiles following the martyrdom of (Hamas chief) Ismail Haniyeh … the intensification of the Zionist regime’s assaults on Lebanon and Gaza, the martyrdom of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and (of) Guards Commander Abbas Nilforoushan.”
A senior Iranian official advised Reuters the missile launches have been ordered by Supreme Chief Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has remained in a safe location since Israeli airstrikes on Beirut killed Nasrallah final week.
Tehran is “totally ready” for an Israeli retaliation, the official added.

The Israeli army stated on Tuesday the missile assault from Iran was over and folks may go away air raid shelters.

UN condemns broadening battle
United Nations Secretary-Normal Antonio Guterres condemned the “broadening of the Center East battle, with escalation after escalation” after Iran fired a salvo of ballistic missiles at Israel in retaliation for Israel’s marketing campaign in opposition to Tehran’s Hezbollah allies in Lebanon.
“This should cease. We completely want a ceasefire,” Guterres stated in an announcement on Tuesday.
Iran assault to have penalties, says Israeli army
