Shillong, Sept 7: IIM Shillong (IIM-S) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI), geared toward fostering collaboration in analysis and data trade. As a part of the settlement, IIM Shillong will set up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for North East India Research, specializing in commerce, motion, and associated areas.
Moreover, the MoU gives for the institution of an LPAI Chair at IIM Shillong to steer analysis initiatives and supply thought management in these key sectors.
The MoU was signed by Prof. D. P. Goyal, Director of IIM Shillong, and Ajeet Singh, Director of Operations at LPAI. The occasion was attended by Atul C. Kulkarni, Member of the IIM Shillong Board of Governors and Aditya Mishra, Chairman of LPAI, together with a number of different dignitaries together with Rekha Raikar Kumar, Member Finance, LPAI; Sanjeev Gupta, Member (P&D), LPAI; Madhukar Pandey, Deputy Secretary; and Mahesh Kumar, Advisor for Coaching & Analysis.
This partnership will function a pivotal platform for advancing analysis and addressing the distinctive socio-economic and logistical challenges within the North East area.
