BPL Group founder T P Gopalan Nambiar, died on Thursday, household sources stated.
Nambiar, 94, was not preserving effectively for fairly a while and handed away within the morning, they stated.
“… he died at residence at about 10.15 am,” a member of the family advised PTI.
Popularly referred to as TPG, he’s the father-in-law of BJP chief and former Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
Mourning his demise, former Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa stated on ‘X’, “Saddened by the passing of Shri TPG Nambiar, founding father of the long-lasting BPL model, who has been a detailed acquaintance for a very long time. Shri Nambiar’s huge contributions and legacy will at all times be remembered. My heartfelt condolences to his family members.”
