WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The U.S. State Division has barred former Ecuador President Rafael Correa and former Vice President Jorge Glas from entry into the USA resulting from involvement in corruption, the division mentioned on Wednesday.
“Correa and Glas abused their positions as former president of Ecuador and former vice chairman of Ecuador, respectively, by accepting bribes, together with by political contributions, in alternate for granting favorable authorities contracts,” the State Division mentioned in an announcement.
